Job Description

  • Manage the maintenance and operations of all facilities to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Coordinate building repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee contractors and service providers to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
  • Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective facility management practices.
  • Develop and implement facility policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Facilities Manager should have:

  • Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage contractors and service providers effectively.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
