Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the organisation's financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funding for operations.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements in Australia.
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations within the retail industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
