About Our Client

This is a growing construction business in Ringwood.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax returns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification required.
  • Exposure with having direct/indirect reports.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and managing audits.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
