Finance Manager to lead the end-to-end finance function within a growing manufacturing business. Backed by a well-established parent group, the position offers the opportunity to shape the finance function and build a team as the business scales. The role will suit a Senior Accountant stepping up or alternatively a ready-made Finance Manager.
  • Immediate Start - 130,000-150,000 Excl. Superannuation

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage cash flow and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have/be:

  • A professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial management within an inventory based organisation
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Business Services backing preferred but not mandatory
