Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with supply chain to manage inventory performance and optimize stock levels.
  • Oversee inventory-related balance sheet accounts (stock on hand, in transit, obsolete, clearing) and drive accuracy, including Days of Inventory (DOI) analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to track key performance indicators.
  • Provide insights on budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful FP&A Analyst should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles within the FMCG/retail industry.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
