This is a hands-on Group IT Lead role where you'll be the go-to person for end-user IT, managing Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, SaaS applications, security, device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and day-to-day support for around 100+ users. You'll be expected to automate manual IT processes, improve security and user experience, reduce reliance on MSPs, and build efficient IT operations while remaining actively involved in technical delivery

Our client is a growing international software business operating across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Through a series of acquisitions, the organisation now supports multiple business units and is focused on standardising systems, modernising IT operations, strengthening security, and improving the overall employee technology experience across the group.

The business is currently transitioning from a largely outsourced IT support model to an internal capability, creating an opportunity for a hands-on IT professional to take ownership of Microsoft 365, SaaS management, identity and endpoint security, end-user support, and IT process automation in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Job Description

Provide Level 1-3 IT support for approximately 100+ users.
Administer Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and endpoint management.
Automate onboarding, offboarding, access management, patching, and other routine IT processes.
Manage SaaS applications, software licensing, vendors, and hardware procurement.
Improve security, identity management, and IT service delivery across the business.
Work closely with a small UK-based IT team to establish consistent processes and standards

The Successful Applicant

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and end-user technology.

Experience in a sole-charge IT, IT Lead, Workplace Technology, or IT Operations role.

PowerShell and automation experience.

Strong understanding of SaaS management, identity governance, and security best practices.

A self-starter who enjoys building processes, solving problems, and improving how IT operates.

Experience managing relationships with hardware vendors, software providers, MSPs, and technology partners
