About Our Client

Our client is a large established organisation with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand. They are known for their down-to-earth, supportive culture and genuinely collaborative team, where people are approachable, inclusive and focused on helping each other succeed.

The People and Culture function plays a key role in maintaining this culture and is currently navigating a busy period of system implementation, creating an opportunity for a HR Administrator to step in and provide support. Initially this is a 2 month contract however there is potentially opportunities down the track for the right candidate.

Job Description

This role sits within a friendly and high-performing People and Culture team and will focus on delivering efficient and accurate HR administration across the employee life cycle. The position is particularly on boarding and administration focused, with responsibility for:* Coordinating on boarding for new starters, often in high volumes

* Preparing employment contracts and related documentation

* Maintaining accurate employee records within HR systems

* Supporting payroll with administrative tasks and data integrity

* Responding to employee queries and providing day to day HR support

* Assisting the wider People and Culture team with ongoing administrative requirementsYou will work closely with senior members of the People and Culture team, contributing to a collaborative environment where everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and support each other to get things done.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Admin should have:

  • Previous experience in HR
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An understanding of HR processes and / or compliance requirements.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
