Job Description

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to management and employees.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
  • Manage employee relations and workplace investigations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace legislation and company standards.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and training plans.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR advisory or similar role within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices in Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
