We are seeking a motivated Level 1 IT Technician to join a growing team in the Technology & Telecoms industry. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to provide technical support and ensure seamless IT operations in Perth.

Job Description

  • Provide first-level technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues promptly.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Log and track support requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
  • Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide Level 1 support across business and residential clients.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues.
  • Perform basic hardware upgrades (RAM, SSD, cloning).
  • Conduct remote and on-site support.
  • Identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Level 1 IT Technician should have:

  • A relevant qualification in IT or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users and liaise with the team.
  • Familiarity with hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering quality support.
  • The ability to work effectively in a small team environment in Perth.
  • Self motivated, hard working and committed.
  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
  • Australian Drivers License.
