Job Description

  • Hybrid role - 3 days on site - 18 month contract
  • Coordinate inbound containerised freight.
  • Track vessel ETAs, port congestion, and on-time delivery accuracy
  • Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal customer facing stakeholders, and Disitributors.
  • Escalate and resolve shipment delays, ASN rejections, and exceptions
  • Support performance reporting and KPI tracking for supply chain leadership
  • Identify and resolve any logistics-related issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to align logistics operations with business goals.
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation and efficiency within the logistics department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Coordinator (Contractor) should have:

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain operations within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment.
