About Our Client

A global organisation within the FMCG industry. This is an initial 12 month contract with an absolute view to permanency.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations from import to last mile delivery through to reverse logistics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise 3PL performance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to drive improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting and cost control for logistics activities.
  • Lead and mentor the logistics team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Resolve logistics-related challenges and implement corrective actions

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
  • Experience working with the major retailers in Australia (Woolworths & Coles)
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, systems and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
