About Our Client

Our client is a long‑established FMCG sales and retail execution agency with over three decades of experience supporting brands across grocery, pharmacy, convenience, and specialty retail. They specialise in delivering strategic, omni‑channel sales solutions, partnering closely with brand owners to drive sustainable, profitable growth in the fast‑moving consumer goods sector.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and unlock retail growth opportunities aligned with brand and category strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of omni‑channel strategies across major accounts.
  • Build strong, influential relationships with buyers and category teams, tailoring presentations to suit retailer requirements.
  • Drive commercial results through joint business planning, promotional programs, and co‑op strategies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with brand partners.
  • Provide category and market analysis using tools such as IRI, Quantium, and IBIS.
  • Represent the business and partner brands at key industry events and trade shows.
  • Support internal reporting, including monthly budget updates and sales performance tracking.



The Successful Applicant

To succeed, you will bring:

  • Experience in account management, sales, or category roles within FMCG, retail, or agency environments.
  • A strong understanding of the Australian grocery, pharmacy, convenience, and independent retail landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Proven commercial acumen backed by data‑driven decision‑making.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
  • Competence across Microsoft Office and exposure to market data platforms such as IRI or Quantium.
