A public sector organisation based in Melbourne, focused on delivering essential services and solutions. They are automating existing manual processes in the SDLC to eliminate human-errors and achieve productivity and efficiency gains through build and test automation.

Job Description

  • Develop, test, and implement Oracle-based solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Optimise and maintain existing Oracle databases and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system improvements.
  • Write and optimise SQL queries for performance and reliability.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all Oracle systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle-related issues.
  • Document technical specifications and system processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle technologies and implement best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Oracle Developer should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in large enterprises throughout SDLC with the primary focus on implementation, development and support of Oracle Forms and PL/SQL (Oracle BI - OBIEE/ODI highly desirable)
  • Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
  • Knowledge of best practices for database performance and security.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
