Job Description

  • Conduct payroll compliance reviews and audits.
  • Investigate payroll discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Monitor legislative, award and EBA changes.
  • Analyse payroll data to identify risks and trends.
  • Support payroll governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare compliance reporting and audit documentation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Legal and Audit.
  • Drive continuous improvement across payroll processes and controls.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
  • Experience working with high-volume payroll operations
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong Excel and payroll systems experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A proactive mindset and genuine interest in payroll compliance and continuous improvement
