Job Description

Reporting to an exceptional Head of Payroll, you will play a critical role in reviewing, analysing, and remediating payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and fairness for all employees. This is a hands‑on, detail‑driven role ideal for someone who loves solving problems and improving processes:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies, gaps, or historical issues
  • Assist in performing calculations and modelling required for remediation
  • Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to validate findings
  • Support process improvements and contribute to project documentation
  • Provide insights and recommendations aligned with compliance requirements and best practice
  • Ensure accurate reporting, clear communication, and meticulous record‑keeping throughout the project

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong payroll remediation or payroll analysis experience
  • A solid understanding of awards, EBAs, legislation, and payroll compliance
  • High attention to detail and confidence working with complex data
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
  • A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
