Job Description



Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.

You will play a critical role in maintaining payroll integrity, supporting employees, and collaborating across Finance and People & Culture teams.

  • End-to-end payroll processing, including regular, off-cycle, and termination payments
  • Accurate calculation of salaries, wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions
  • Processing of bonuses, back payments, and complex termination calculations
  • Ensuring compliance with tax, superannuation, and industrial relations obligations
  • Award interpretation and management of complex payroll scenarios
  • Payroll reconciliations (PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover)
  • Month-end reporting, journals, and payroll-related financial analysis
  • Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records within Workday
  • Supporting audits, STP reporting, and year-end processes
  • Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries across the business

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, superannuation, and payroll tax
  • Ability to interpret modern awards and manage complex payroll scenarios
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
