About Our Client

We're partnering with a well-established NFP organisation to recruit an experienced People and Culture Business Partner into a collaborative team. This role provides hands-on exposure to employee and industrial relations, with a strong focus on coaching managers, building trusted relationships and delivering practical people advice across corporate and regional operations.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing practical employee and industrial relations advice across performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and workplace matters
  • Managing complex ER cases and preparing documentation for Fair Work matters where required
  • Interpreting and applying the SCHADS Award, employment legislation and organisational policies
  • Partnering with corporate and regional managers to provide clear, practical and risk-aware people advice
  • Coaching leaders through challenging conversations and building their confidence in managing employee matters
  • Developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Supporting broader People and Culture activities, including position descriptions, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with Workplace Health and Safety and other internal teams to support safe and effective workplaces

The Successful Applicant

A successful P&C Business Partner should have:

  • Demonstrated HR Business Partner (or senior HR advisory) experience.
  • Strong, hands-on employee relations experience in Western Australia.
  • Experience managing grievances, investigations, discipline and performance matters.
  • Experience preparing Fair Work responses and supporting conferences or similar proceedings.
  • Working knowledge of the SCHADS Award and Australian employment legislation.
  • Proven ability to coach managers and build stakeholder capability.
  • Strong written communication, judgement and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort working independently within a busy portfolio.
  • Experience within not-for-profit organisation, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Assurance HRIS will be highly regarded.
