Job Description

  • Support PMO governance across a large enterprise transformation program, ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate governance activities, including steering committees, RAID management, stage gates, decision logs and delivery reporting.
  • Consolidate and report on program performance, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and portfolio health across multiple workstreams.
  • Support financial governance through budget tracking, forecasting, resource reporting and portfolio analysis.
  • Build strong relationships with business, technology, delivery partners and vendors, providing clear program communications and status reporting.
  • Partner with Program Managers and Delivery Leads to drive governance, manage delivery risks and support informed decision-making.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture by coaching team members, promoting continuous improvement and supporting delivery excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful PMO Manager should have:

  • Extensive experience in PMO, Project, Program or Delivery Management within enterprise technology environments.
  • Proven track record supporting large-scale technology transformation programs and complex project portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO governance, portfolio reporting, RAID management, financial reporting and program controls.
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with experience preparing executive reporting and steering committee packs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), with a relevant degree and PMO/Project Management certification highly regarded.
