Job Description

As a Program Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping programs on track, informed, and aligned.

You will:

  • Support delivery across multiple initiatives using PRINCE2, Agile, and other frameworks
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and quality assurance of key artefacts including: Business cases, Program & project initiation documents, Status reports and other core documentation
  • Coordinate governance forums - owning agendas, minutes, presentations, and decision tracking
  • Maintain and review project schedules and resource allocations
  • Support timesheet management and ensure accurate effort tracking
  • Monitor and reconcile financials (budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances)
  • Maintain risk, issue, and change registers with a proactive mindset
  • Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration
  • Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and reporting

The Successful Applicant

Essential:

  • Experience with Microsoft Project (Project Online) or similar tools
  • Strong skills across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in public sector and/or large, complex organisations
  • Understanding of program/project management frameworks (PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or similar)
  • Experience working in an ICT environment
