Job Description

This position sits within a high-performing Finance & Commercial team and serves as a critical link between operational stakeholders and commercial decision-makers.



You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and enhancing commercial and operational models including labour costing, roster costing, scenario analysis and funding models.
  • Delivering insightful analysis to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
  • Analysing workforce and roster-related costs to identify risks, cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting commercial claims processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong governance.
  • Identifying trends, anomalies and value-capture opportunities within large and complex data sets.
  • Translating complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Improving documentation, controls and governance across commercial processes and modelling frameworks.
  • Partnering with operational leaders to strengthen commercial understanding and support informed decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful, you'll bring labour modelling expertise, commercial insight and strong stakeholder engagement skills to support informed business decisions.



You will likely have:

  • Demonstrated experience in labour costing, labour modelling, roster costing and workforce analytics, with the ability to build and maintain complex workforce cost models.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability, including forecasting, scenario modelling and business case development.
  • Experience in commercial finance, business analysis, financial analysis or contract management within a complex operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of labour cost drivers, workforce planning, forecasting and financial governance principles.
  • Experience partnering with operational stakeholders to validate assumptions and influence business decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex modelling outputs and commercial information for non-financial audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, governance and process discipline, ensuring models are accurate, transparent and defensible.
  • CPA/CA qualification
