Job Description

  • Lead the preparation of half-year and year-end reporting including ASX Appendix 4D and 4E
  • Coordinate and deliver monthly financial reporting and board reporting packs
  • Ensure compliance with AASB/IFRS accounting standards and ASX listing rules
  • Manage the external audit process and liaise with auditors
  • Prepare technical accounting papers and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting, controls, and systems
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support commercial and strategic decision-making

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • Big 4 audit experience is essential, ideally with listed retail or consumer clients
  • ASX reporting experience is a must (including Appendix 4D/4E exposure)
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced reporting environment
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
