Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for property portfolios.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable for property operations.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with property managers to optimise financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Property Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA certification (or working towards completion).
  • Strong experience in property accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in property management systems and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
