About Our Client



Our client is an iconic Australian footwear brand, renowned for delivering trend‑driven, fashion‑forward styles for men and women year‑round. With a strong digital presence and a fast‑paced creative culture, the brand continues to evolve through innovative storytelling and audience‑first content.

They are seeking a Social Media Specialist & Content Creator to take ownership of the women's social channels, bringing the brand to life across key platforms through engaging, on‑trend, and performance‑driven content. This is a full‑time, office‑based role within a small, collaborative team, ideal for someone who is proactive, creative, and confident working both independently and cross‑functionally.

Job Description

  • Own and manage the social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Conceptualise, create, and execute monthly social campaigns aligned to key retail moments, including major promotional events such as Afterpay sales.
  • Produce high‑quality photo and video content for organic and paid channels, including shooting, editing, and publishing.
  • Stay ahead of social and cultural trends, translating them into engaging, on‑brand content.
  • Manage and optimise paid social campaigns via Meta Ads Manager to drive engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
  • Plan, design, and execute EDM campaigns using DotDigital or similar platforms, ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor performance, analyse insights, and identify growth opportunities across social and email channels using analytics tools.
  • Build and manage influencer, stylist, and creator partnerships to expand brand reach.
  • Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and customer enquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives, including photographers, videographers, and agencies.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Windsor Smith's visual identity, tone of voice, and brand standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have 2-3+ years' experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing, within fashion or retail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok, including trends, formats, and platform algorithms.
  • Confident shooting, editing, and appearing in video content.
  • A strong eye for fashion, styling, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong copywriting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Hands‑on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Business Manager.
  • Experience building EDMs using DotDigital or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Iconosquare.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and/or Figma.
  • Experience using content scheduling platforms such as Sked.
  • A proactive, ideas‑driven, and confident communicator who thrives in a small‑team environment.
