  • You will be responsible for full policy review, redesign, and rollout.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement social procurement strategies in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and onboard socially responsible suppliers.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to ethical and sustainable practices.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement outcomes and impact.
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in social procurement and the Technology & Telecoms industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on social procurement practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Social Procurement Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
  • A strong understanding of social procurement principles, particularly for indigenous suppliers, and sustainable supply chain practices.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to driving positive social and environmental outcomes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related field.
