Job Description

The role:

  • Design and implement scalable, high-quality technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for new and existing systems.
  • Provide end-to-end Solution Architecture & Component-level Design
  • Develop architectural frameworks and ensure alignment with organisational standards and strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project life cycle.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the insurance sector.
  • Document architectural designs and ensure clear communication with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure successful project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Solution Architect should have:

  • 3-5 years experience, working on strategic business projects, as a Solution Architect, designing & implementing end-to-end solutions
  • experience with designing and implementing end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Azure technology stack, especially Azure Integration Services
  • Strong stakeholder management skillset working with vendor and internal teams
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
  • Good understanding & experience of SDLC development process, and working with Azure DevOps
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and modern integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent understanding of different integration architecture design patterns
  • Solid Architectural & Design documentation skills using VISIO, PowerPoint, EA tools, AI tools (e.g. Co-pilot, Claude)
