This company operates in the FMCG industry and is recognised as a reputable and established organisation. They are a medium-sized enterprise with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and maintaining efficient supply chain operations.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production plans to ensure customer demand is met while maximising plant efficiency and resource utilisation.
  • Coordinate inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to support uninterrupted production and on-time customer deliveries.
  • Liaise with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align supply plans with changing customer requirements and operational constraints.
  • Monitor stock movements, forecast demand trends, and identify supply risks to minimise shortages, excess inventory, and waste.
  • Manage transport and distribution schedules to ensure timely dispatch of finished products across customers, distribution centres, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Maintain and update planning data, reports, and live Excel-based scheduling tools, ensuring accuracy and visibility across the supply chain.
  • Analyse key supply chain and operational metrics, providing recommendations to improve service levels, inventory performance, and production efficiency.
  • Actively resolve planning and logistics issues by prioritising business-critical requirements, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and delivering solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in planning, supply chain, logistics, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and planning reports.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or agriculture will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to ERP or planning systems is advantageous.
