We are seeking a Payroll Systems Support Analyst to lead testing, compliance, and optimisation of workforce systems. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate payroll outcomes through robust system configuration, integration, and governance.

Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring payroll system accuracy through configuration, testing, and compliance with awards and agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and test Kronos rules to ensure compliance with industrial agreements
  • Lead UAT, integration testing, and load testing activities
  • Identify system risks and ensure full end-to-end validation
  • Develop test plans, workload models, and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and functionality errors
  • Support payroll transformation and system improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation changes



Stakeholder & Delivery Focus

  • Partner with payroll, HR, and systems teams to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across business units
  • Conduct audits and process improvements to mitigate risk
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and reporting frameworks

The Successful Applicant

A successful Systems Support Analyst should have:

  • Proven experience in payroll systems (Kronos or similar)
  • Strong background in UAT, system testing, and integrations
  • Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation & awards
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify risks and solve problems
  • Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in documentation, reporting, and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • High attention to detail with a quality-first approach
