About Our Client

A proud Australian business, our client is seeking to strengthen its accounting & finance team with this new hire on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the key scope of this role includes:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Receivables.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • CA/CPA Qualified (or working towards).
  • Prior background in civil, plant, labour hire or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Xero system exposure (desired).
