Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the accounts receivable team of 3 to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Prepare and review aging reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline invoicing and payment processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts receivable team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding debts.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AR Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in accounts receivable management within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards and Microsoft Excel.
  • A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
