About Our Client

Location: Camberwell, VIC (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

I'm currently partnering with a leding educational research centre to appoint a Temporary Communications Advisor for an initial 6-month, full-time contract.

This opportunity sits within the Internal Communications team, supporting both day-to-day delivery and more strategic communication activities across the organisation.

Job Description

  • Supporting internal communications delivery, including newsletters, intranet updates, and content coordination
  • Maintaining and updating the SharePoint intranet, including homepage content, page structures, and user experience improvements
  • Acting as a key contributor to intranet content planning and governance, ensuring information is accurate, engaging, and easy to navigate
  • Writing and editing internal communications, while also assisting with external content such as articles, marketing materials, and presentations
  • Partnering with the Senior Communications Advisor, Creative Services, researchers, and key stakeholders across the business
  • Coordinating internal events including town halls, staff forums, and team meetings
  • Managing workflow and content tasks via Asana, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met



The Successful Applicant

    • Experience in internal communications, content writing, or corporate communications
    • Strong experience managing or contributing to intranet platforms (ideally SharePoint)
    • Demonstrated ability to create, structure, and optimise intranet content for usability and engagement
    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
    • A collaborative approach, with confidence engaging with a broad range of stakeholders
    • Experience with tools such as Asana (or similar workflow platforms) is highly regarded
