Job Description

  • Manage the customs clearance process to ensure compliance with Australian regulations.
  • Prepare and lodge accurate documentation for imports and exports.
  • Provide expert advice on customs and tariffs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry regulations and changes.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners.
  • Resolve customs-related issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving operational and delivery objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory bodies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customs Broker should have:

  • A valid Australian Customs Broker Licence.
  • Strong knowledge of customs and quarantine regulations in Australia.
  • Proven experience in the transport and distribution industry, particularly in logistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and partners.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in customs clearance.
