Our client is one of the largest water utility organisations in Melbourne, supplying drinking water, sewerage, and recycled water services to millions of residents and businesses. The organization operates as a government-owned corporation and focuses on sustainability.

Job Description

  • Support data quality, enforce privacy standards, facilitate accessibility, monitoring data usage and aligning it with business objectives
  • Mitigate risks and maximise data value, supporting strategic goals and stakeholder trust.
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with data management standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity across systems and processes.
  • Provide support and guidance on data governance best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Governance Analyst should have:

  • Understanding of AI governance (desirable).
  • Experience with Alation or Purview (highly desirable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams to address data challenges.
