Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and manage accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making within the property industry.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure effective financial risk management.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA Qualified
  • A background in a chartered environment (Audit, Business Services etc.) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Great communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
