About Our Client

An organisation supporting critical Government and Defence supply chain operations is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role operates in a structured, highly regulated environment and partners closely with operational leaders to deliver strong financial insight and governance.

Job Description

You will support financial performance across multiple contracts, delivering accurate reporting, analysis and commercial insights that enable informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial performance reporting including P&L, budgets, forecasts and KPIs
  • Monthly close activities, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Financial analysis and modelling to support cost control and performance improvement
  • Providing clear financial commentary to operational and commercial stakeholders
  • Supporting audit, compliance and statutory reporting requirements
  • Identifying risks, opportunities and process improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
  • CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience in financial or management accounting within a complex environment
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and commercially minded
  • Confident communicator able to partner across the business
