The organisation is focused on delivering significant outcomes for Victorian communities and is continuing to build the capability, systems and processes required to support its next phase of growth.Job DescriptionReporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the organisation's financial control and reporting framework while providing operational leadership across finance and procurement activities.Key responsibilities include:Leading month-end reporting, management accounts and financial analysis.Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial modelling activities.Maintaining strong financial controls, reconciliations and general ledger integrity.Overseeing payroll, accounts payable and day-to-day finance operations.Managing audit processes, statutory compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.Partnering with executive stakeholders to provide financial insights and accountability around expenditure.Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system and ongoing process improvement initiatives.Leading and developing finance team members while helping build capability within the function.Presenting financial information to governance and audit committees and supporting organisational decision-makingThe Successful ApplicantYou will be a CA/CPA-qualified finance leader with demonstrated Financial Controller or senior finance experience across reporting, budgeting, compliance and operational finance.
