The role requires a skilled professional to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to accounting and finance functions in a dynamic environment. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing operational finance, finance operations, control, audit requirements & also assist the CFO and Head of Finance with FP&A and business planning.
  • $150,000 - 160,000 Excluding Superannuation
  • Hybrid working arrangement - ASAP Start

Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage inventory and operational accounting activities
  • Manage month end actiivities and delegate activities amongst a capable team of accountants
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support decision-making.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable team
  • Collaborate with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
  • Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Exposure to a product related industry (FMCG, Manufacturing etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Audit background is also preferred but not a prerequisite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
