As a Industry Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth within the Mobile Machinery OEM sector across NSW & SA. This position requires a technical understanding of automation & sensors/PLC's combined with a passion for delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Mobile Machinery OEM sectors.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical support to clients and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales proposals and quotations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within the designated territory.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Industry Sales Engineer should have:

  • A solid technical background in the automation/sensors/PLC space, ideally selling in to OEM's.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Strong sales acumen with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client visits across NSW & SA.
