Job Description

Finance & Accounts

  • Accounts payable and receivable oversight
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier payment processing
  • Assisting with month-end reporting
  • Maintaining financial accuracy within ERP systems
  • Supporting finance administration and process improvements



Reporting & Analysis

  • Monthly P&L reporting and analysis
  • Sales reporting and performance tracking
  • Supplier performance reporting
  • Customer profitability and margin analysis
  • Freight and logistics cost reporting
  • Inventory and stock analysis
  • Gap reporting and range performance analysis
  • Identifying trends, opportunities and operational inefficiencies
  • Building and maintaining reporting tools and dashboards



Projects & Systems

  • Supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Enhancing reporting capability and business visibility
  • Assisting with systems and operational improvement projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Finance & Commercial Analyst should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
  • Previous experience within a logistics, distribution or FMCG environment.
  • Effective communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
