This role is focused on building a sustainable capability ecosystem - not just a framework, but the processes, tools and governance that enable leaders and employees to clearly define expectations, assess capability, and drive targeted development.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience developing capability frameworks across both operational (blue-collar) and corporate (white-collar) environments, ensuring relevance and usability from frontline teams through to senior leadership.

  • Design and deliver an organisation-wide capability framework covering all role families across operational and corporate functions
  • Establish end-to-end capability processes, including assessment, gap identification and development planning
  • Define and map capability standards across both blue-collar (frontline/manufacturing) and white-collar (corporate/commercial) workforces
  • Develop practical tools (e.g. frameworks, templates, assessment guides) to support consistent capability evaluation and development conversations
  • Partner with business leaders to co-design, validate and embed capability requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to drive alignment, engagement and adoption
  • Pilot the framework across diverse teams and refine based on feedback and usability insights
  • Align capability frameworks with learning pathways and development solutions to enable targeted upskilling
  • Provide governance, documentation and training to ensure sustainable implementation and ongoing ownership
  • Lead delivery end-to-end, managing timelines, stakeholders and outcomes independently

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development or HR
  • Proven experience designing and implementing capability frameworks at an organisational level
  • Demonstrated track record building end-to-end capability processes (assessment, gap analysis, development planning) across a whole business
  • Strong experience working across both blue-collar (manufacturing, frontline, operational) and white-collar (corporate, commercial) environments
  • Experience operating in multi-site or operational organisations (e.g. FMCG, manufacturing) highly desirable
  • Ability to deliver complex initiatives independently within a defined timeframe
  • Availability to travel to Wodonga

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary package between $115,000 and $140,000 AUD, based on experience.
  • Opportunity to work within a respected organisation in the FMCG sector.
