Job Description



The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and general ledger adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end P&L for a designated subsidiary, delivering monthly financial results, variance analysis, and meaningful commentary to key stakeholders.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently met.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to monitor costs, identify trends, and provide financial insights that drive business performance.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including analysis of actuals against budget.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation where required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
