Our client is global trading company that specialises in sourcing, trading, and distributing coffee, with a strong focus on sustainability and supply chain transparency.

Job Description



  • Trading Management:
    Collaborate with the Management Board to develop and implement trading strategies. Oversee trading activities, manage positions, and control risks associated with market exposure.


  • Execution & Operations:
    Coordinate closely with Logistics and Quality teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of contracts and deliveries.


  • Factory Operations:
    Work with the Production/QC Manager and Facility Manager to optimise yields and maintain efficient, stable factory operations.


  • Financial Oversight:
    Partner with the Finance team to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost control.


  • Human Resources:
    Collaborate with HR to build and retain a high-performing team, foster employee engagement, and establish clear career development paths.


  • Culture & Development:
    Support HR and team leaders in delivering training programs and reinforcing company values, ensuring consistent alignment across the organisation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in a senior management role with responsibility for team leadership, budgets, and financial performance
  • Solid understanding of sustainable projects
  • Strong knowledge of processing methods and quality variations

Technical Skills:



  • Technical & Analytical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems; strong data management and analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, digital tools)


  • Trading & Risk Management: Understanding of macroeconomics and commodity trading fundamentals, including risk management principles, hedging strategies, and P&L tracking (futures, spreads, differential & flat price trading)


  • Language: Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage


  • Organisation & Thinking: Strong logical thinking, planning, and organisational skills


  • Team & Culture: Willingness to engage in team activities and contribute to a collaborative environment


  • Work Setup: Office-based role in Vietnam with regular on-site presence required
