This position is a pivotal FP&A role responsible for delivering forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic insights to support business performance and growth initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the role drives budgeting, long-term planning, and investment analysis across a multi-site resources business.

Job Description

  • Lead financial modelling across corporate and project models (LOM, feasibility, valuation and scenario analysis)
  • Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple operational sites
  • Support M&A activity including modelling, due diligence, and board-level presentations
  • Maintain and enhance the corporate model and strategic planning frameworks
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Partner with operations and non-finance stakeholders to drive performance improvements
  • Contribute to investor-related analysis including benchmarking and market insights
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes

The Successful Applicant

  • CA/CPA qualified with a background in accounting, finance, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in FP&A, financial modelling, or corporate finance
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling capability (essential)
  • Prior experience within the mining/resources sector (critical)
  • Ability to operate in a standalone, hands-on role with high accountability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, commercial acumen, and proactive mindset
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Pronto advantageous)
