This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology procurement professional to work as part of the Global Technology Procurement team. The role will work closely with the procurement team, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver across a range of technology contracts.

Job Description

  • Help develop and execute technology sourcing and negotiation strategies across services, software and infrastructure, with a focus on software
  • Bring their proven expertise and experience to cut through the complexity of enterprise software agreements and deliver on our speed to value commitment to the IS&T and Digital Leads
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the Technology Procurement categories based on industry and market research, organisational priorities, supply chain risk and commercial opportunities.
  • Provide commercial leadership and guidance to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure you continue to represent the Technology Procurement team by demonstrating a high level of professional capability and upholding core values of Care, Courage and Curiosity;
  • Work closely with legal, finance and other business partners to support an efficient end to end source to contract experience for all stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in a global team, which may mean working outside of normal business hours as required;

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Significant prior experience in Technology Procurement sourcing and negotiation.
  • Proven record of delivering successful commercial outcomes
  • Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated experience leading complex contract negotiations
  • Ability to work effectively and productively to support a strong team environment with an expected high degree of individual autonomy (and accountability)
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
