Job Description

  • Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap for the lending portfolio.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from development through to optimisation and retirement.
  • Monitor portfolio performance across financial, customer, risk, and strategic metrics.
  • Lead commercial analysis, including pricing, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and innovation initiatives through research and insights.
  • Drive new product development, including defining propositions and overseeing launch activities.
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all products.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, including executives, government bodies, and regulators.
  • Prepare and present reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Champion customer outcomes, ensuring products deliver value and align to target markets.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Product & Portfolio Manager should have:

    • Minimum 5+ years' experience in product, portfolio, or commercial management within financial services.
    • Proven experience managing product portfolios and driving performance outcomes.
    • Strong commercial and financial analysis capability, including pricing and forecasting.
    • Experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated experience managing the full product lifecycle from development to retirement.
    • Experience operating in highly regulated environments with strong risk and compliance focus.
    • Ability to identify, assess, and manage product and portfolio risks.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with executives and governance forums.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategic initiatives.
    • (Desirable) Experience in lending, mortgages, banking, or government-backed finance programs.
