Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to queries.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage month-end and year-end processes efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
