This role involves leading end‑to‑end property and urban development projects, including managing feasibility, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and delivery to ensure commercial and community outcomes are achieved. It requires a commercially astute professional who can oversee complex projects, manage key relationships, and drive negotiations and risk management across the full development lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex property and urban development projects from concept through to completion
  • Prepare and manage feasibility studies, business cases, budgets, and financial modelling
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage external consultants, contractors, and advisors
  • Drive project timelines, ensuring key milestones and delivery outcomes are achieved
  • Manage commercial negotiations, including development agreements, partnerships, and stakeholder contracts
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across the development lifecycle
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private sector, and community stakeholders
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory, planning, and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to strategic planning and portfolio performance to maximise commercial and community outcomes

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Ideally qualified from a Public Practice and has experience working within Industry- flexible on sector
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in feasibility analysis, budgeting, and financial management
  • Experience navigating planning frameworks, approvals, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across government, private sector, and community groups
  • Highly developed negotiation skills, particularly across development agreements and partnerships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risk and drive outcomes in complex environments
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet key deadlines
