Job Description

  • Analyse and document business requirements to inform technology solutions.
  • Lead discovery activities to identify business challenges, service improvement opportunities and strategic priorities.
  • Drive future-state process design and operating model development across multiple business functions.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking and market analysis to inform innovation and transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions with leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Analyse and document business, operational and process requirements.
  • Develop process maps, business cases, options analysis and investment recommendations.
  • Assess opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements and service enhancement.
  • Support proof of concepts, pilots and experimentation initiatives to validate new approaches.
  • Partner with project, technology, finance and operational teams to support implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Challenge assumptions, identify risks and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement frameworks, governance processes and organisational capability uplift.
  • Ensure solutions balance operational effectiveness, commercial outcomes and client experience improvements

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Analyst should have:

  • Significant experience in business analysis, business transformation or process improvement roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing future-state processes and operating models.
  • Strong capability in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments with evolving business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to assess business value and investment outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience developing business cases, options assessments and process improvement recommendations.
  • Exposure to innovation, transformation programs or organisational change initiatives.
  • Experience within not-for-profit, aged care, community services, health or human services environments will be highly regarded.
