Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager - Finance, the Senior Finance/Labour Analyst plays a key advisory role within the Finance & Commercial function. You'll leverage large datasets, advanced modelling and AI-driven analytics to identify opportunities that enhance labour productivity, reduce cost leakage and support strategic decision making.

  • Build and enhance labour, productivity and cost‑based financial models using advanced Excel, Power BI and AI tools.
  • Analyse labour spend, roster patterns and workforce efficiency to uncover trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop clear, concise executive dashboards and reporting that translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance Business Partners and Accounting teams to improve data quality, alignment and processes.
  • Support labour transformation initiatives by challenging existing practices and advocating for data-led decision making.
  • Prepare scenario modelling, forecasting insights and briefing papers that guide commercial and operational decisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience
  • Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and influence decision makers
  • Excellent communication and ability to present findings to senior executives
  • Strong data analysis capability
