This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager to join a successful and growing manufacturing business. Working closely with an experienced Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, ensuring robust financial controls, and delivering accurate, timely reporting to support commercial decision-making.

Job Description

With an immediate start available, this position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact while contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the organisation. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage and oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Complex balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting and finance procedures.
  • Provide financial advice and insights to senior management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific financial trends and regulations.
  • Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager should have:

  • Manufacturing, Wholesale, Retail, FMCG background (experience dealing with inventory)
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field (CA/CPA or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems & advanced excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
