Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including origination, evaluation, execution, and integration
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment papers
  • Conduct commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence on potential targets
  • Prepare board-level presentations and investment committee materials
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, and operations to assess growth opportunities
  • Support post-merger integration and value creation initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and potential acquisition targets
  • Build and manage relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, consultants, and legal firms

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-4 years' experience within a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g. MBB, Big 4 Strategy, Tier 2)
  • 2-3 years' experience within a corporate environment (corporate development, strategy, or FP&A)
  • Strong experience in M&A, transactions, or strategic project delivery
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive or board level
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, or a related discipline (MBA/CFA highly regarded)
